![]() It is quite a random issue and I'm sure you are not the only one that puts their computer to sleep that also has UC. I'm also not trying to have a pissing contest with you and just trying to help. Yes, the drive gets shut down anyway but maybe causing a strange conflict there. Do you exit the game before putting computer to sleep? As in the steps above you wake computer to continue playing. Or its just allocating RAM so much if constantly putting computer to sleep it may just need to be refreshed. ![]() Maybe you have issues with your RAM and where the data for UC is being stored just happens to not like it. I really dont need to put PC to sleep either as it boots in about 8 - 12 seconds anyway and I do not work from home so dont need instant access. Its also barely uses any power when idle and I am not concerned about the cost of leaving it in that state for a few hours or days if I do. Originally posted by Montago:If YOU dont put your computer to sleep - you wouldn't have this issue would you ? I would just keep PC on and lock it when not in use. Which means its made to go into sleep or hybrid mode. Which than fails to reconnect once computer resumes from sleep.Īlso, if not on a laptop putting the computer to sleep really doesnt save much power at all. See if problem persists.ĭo you experience connection issues with anything else, if say you are using your internet browser?Īre connected to a router? Have you checked your settings to see if you are being timed out due to little/no activity for your IP? Which is than disconnecting ubisoft connect. See if that is checked, if so, try to uncheck it. Even if plan is set to max performance.Ĭheck this by going to device manager>network adapters>find your ethernet adapter connected>properties>power management>allow the computer to turn off this device to save power. Just because you have a hard wired connection does not prevent your adapter from sleeping. The Ethernet DOES NOT sleep / disconnect. The PC is connected using RJ45 LAN Cable and is 100% connected to the internet when i want to start up Origins again. ![]() At least thats my best guess as a software developer. Most likely its a problem with OAuth where an AccessToken is invalid and Ubisoft Connect doesnt have a RefreshToken or doesnt reliably re-establish the connection to Steam / The Servers. But is a connection issue within Ubisoft Connect or between Steam and Ubisoft Connect. I'm confident that the problem has nothing to do with internet connection. Let me know if I can further clarify the above steps! From that window, you should see 'change advanced power settings.' Click that, and then in the new menu, one of the options might be about 'network connectivity in standby.' If you allow that option, and then try again to launch Origins soon after waking the computer from sleep, does this error still happen? If you are comfortable trying it, can you change your power plan to not switch off networking during sleep mode? To do this, search 'power options' in your start menu. I understand you've found Ubisoft Connect not to automatically log in after waking your computer from sleep mode, which is very unusual.Ĭan you tell me how soon after you wake the computer you've been starting up Origins? Some network adapters might take longer than others to reconnect to the internet, modified further by if you're wired or using wifi.
